The PCS Union have hit out at Ed Miliband for refusing to back today's strike action, and their anger is echoed by strikers and leaders across all unions.
Ed Miliband won power from his brother David entirely due to the backing of the Unions who control a third of the votes for Labour Leadership Elections... But ever since Labour's bankers backed Not David, the new Labour Leader has been in bitter battles wi unions who kind of feel he owes them.
But it is really not as simple as Ed Miliband not being loyal to his backs. The Conservative have scored many points with Not Red's predecessors by attacking them for not standing up to the unions. Ed's catch 22 has to be that whatever he does, he's going to upset someone... And as they say, you can't please all of the people all of the time.
